Recently, there have been two instances where persons are claiming that they were abducted or someone tried to abduct them.
The most recent being a two women who are employed at Emerge BPO.
The women claimed that they went to get food and a car with persons tried to kidnapped them. However, their fellow colleagues say they were just attention seekers. The company has since issued a statement saying that the reports by the two women were not true.
Another report is that of an APNU+AFC social media commentator, Gavin Matthews. He claimed that he recently stopped a car with only the driver. He said that the driver told him to put a bag over his head and he complied. Matthews further noted that he was then taken to an area and handcuffed to a bed by the lone driver. However, Daily News was made to understand that Matthews was at a gathering when COVID-19 Task Force swooped down on the location and arrested persons, Matthews was among those arrested. However, he identified himself and was subsequently released.
There are also a number of persons who are reported missing. However, most of them have been found, are safe and unharmed. They have either ran away from home or were hiding out.
