Man loses finger after being attacked for breaching curfew

Surendranauth Sookdeo/Robindranauth Sookdeo  called Tambraine a 31-y-o farmer of 4 Grant 1771 Crabwood Creek  Corentyne   Berbice, is now hospitalised after being  chopped by Romel Williams, a laborer of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne on Monday at around 21:37hrs.

According to Versammy Harmogan a Businessman of Backland Crabwood Creek Corentyne Berbice, he was sitting in company of others at his residence when the victim came and stood in the vicinity.

Harmogan related that he told the victim that he needs to leave because its curfew. At about ten seconds after, the suspect came from western direction and dealt the victim several chops about his body causing him to receive injuries. One of his figures was severed.

He was picked up in an unconscious state and taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital, where he was treated by a doctor on duty who later transferred him to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
