27-y-o Witamanie Moonsammy, aka “Kevin” a fisherman of 291 Chesney Front, Corentyne,  Berbice was charged for the possession of an illegal firearm. He appeared before Magistrate Renita Singh at the Albion Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded guilty when the charge was read to him. As a result, he was sentenced to one year in prison.
