Dr. Jason Ramcharan is among four medical students who will be going to Cuba to pursue post-graduate studies in medicine. The other three students are; Dr. Avalon Jeffrey, Dr. Saif Ali, and Dr. Mohan Ronald.

For the year 2021, several medical doctors arrived back in Guyana including a Forensic Psychiatrist, Dr. Meenawattie Rajkumar.
