A delivery rider attached to a popular delivery service was allgedly robbed of his XR motorcycle #CJ3 valued $450,000 o Monday at around 20:30hrs at Delhi Street, Prashad Nagar, Georgetown, by an unidentifiable man.
According to information received, the victim was in the area on a delivery exercise when he stopped to make a call for directions to the address he was making the delivery.
While on his phone, the suspect approached from a northern direction, and said “who you looking for?”.
As the victim was about to speak, the suspect took out a hand gun from his pants waist and pointed it at him.
The gunman then demanded the rider off his motorcycle. The man complied.
The suspect then rode off with the victim’s motorcycle heading north, then turned east on the Railway Embankment making good his escaped.
Investigations are ongoing.
