UG student set free of bomb threat charges

A University of Guyana student, Sheneza ‘Diane’ Jaffarally, who was charged for allegedly making bomb threats at UG, was freed of the charge on Wednesday.

According to the charge, on February 05, 2019 at Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, Jafarally, sent by means of a public telecommunication system for the purpose of causing needless anxiety to the staff and students of the University of Guyana, a false message. She was represented by attorney at law, Latchmie Rahamat
