27 years old Tairam Singh, a security officer of Patentia, West Bank Demerara was allegedly robbed of one cell phone valued $35,000 and $1000 cash by an identifiable man called “PK’ on Tuesday at around 19:30hrs.

According to reports, the victim was standing on the southern side of Patentia Public Road awaiting transportation to go home when the Suspect approached him from the northern side of the said road and pointed a long brown handle cutlass to his neck demanding that the Victim hand over all his valuables.
The Victim became fearful for his life and handed over the items mentioned above. The suspect then made good his escape. Investigations are ongoing.
