I8 year old Ronald Gomes body was found disfigured back in July 2018 at a popular Resort on the Soesdyke Highway and the matter was closed after the Post Mortem Examination determined he died of asphyxiation.

The resort management denied involvement. But, the mother continued to fight for justice and is convinced her son died of negligence and was killed by the propeller of a boat at the resort. The case went viral and after several investigations all leads went cold. After two years of fighting, a judge finally ordered a hearing of the case in Dec 2020.
