A 25 year old labourer of Hururu Mission and De Veldt Upper Berbice is in Police Custody following a marijuana bust infront the Ituni Police on Tuesday at around 07:00hrs.

According to information reaching Daily News, police stopped a minibus on the day in question and conducted a search on the passengers and their personal belongings.
A “five gallon” bucket was discovered. Upon opening the container, 30 bags of seeds leaves and stems suspected to be cannabis and weighed 1040 grams were found. The suspect was arrested and is assting with investigations.
