30-y-o Collin Venture was granted bail in the sum of $150,000 by Chief Magistrate, Ann McLennan for allegedly raping a 16-y-o girl sometime in September last year. He was not required to plead to the charge when it was read to him in camera.

According to the facts, Venture allegedly had sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 16 years at Meadow Brook Gardens. The man would usually visit the shop owned by the girl’s parents. Venture would lure the child into the toilet in her parents home and have sex with her.
It was the child’s stepmother who got her phone and found messages between the two. The child admitted that the two were having sexual intercourse.
The matter was reported and Venture was arrested.
