Cuban National Yoel Rodrigues will make his first court appearance at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court to face murder charges for the killings of 34 year old Tara Krishnaran and 11 year old Larissa Singh. The Director of Public Prosecutions has given the go ahead for police to lay murder charges.

Rodrigues admitted to the killings and told police that he killed the woman out of anger. He also told investigators that he also sexually molested the 11 year old after he killed her.
